Scenes from the McClintic wedding

The happy couple.

Gray skies couldn’t damper bright spirits as Tm McClintic and the former Crystal Henson, now Crystal McClintic Henson, celebrated their much-anticipated nuptials at a hilltop estate overlooking southeastern Escondido.

Mother of the bride, Cindy Nelson, expressed her delight on “a day to remember to see two very special, kind, caring, genuine and loving people say their vows and become husband and wife. Words can not describe about how I feel about Tim becoming a part of our family and our families becoming one.”

Mother of the groom Cathy McClintic Ketchum, who even pitched in as a flower girl spreading lovely purple petals before the bride walked down the wedding aisle, agreed, saying, “Yippi. Let the fun begin.”

Guests were drawn from family and friends throughout North County and beyond. Following a fun and festive pre-wedding reception, a delightful ceremony kicked off with soft music and the promise of shared lives and memories to follow.

The ceremony was simple and sweet as the couple exchanged vows with Tim saying he knew Crystal was “the one” as soon as she walked into his Grand Avenue consignment shop with some jewelry to consign and never left his side. Crystal brushed back more than a few tears of joy. With the blending of the sands ceremony, the couple was united forever bound.

Then, the tasteful celebration ensued as many photos were taken to preserve the moment, wedding cake was cut with joy and guests matched well wishes to lasting memories all will cherish through time.
